Pets are people, too. We all anthropomorphize our animals, even hearing in our minds what their voices would sound like if they were to speak to us. We imagine them playing cards and making long-distance phone calls when we're out of the house. We see them falling in love with other dogs at the park, or getting in gang fights with the cats from the next block over.Imagine your pet's inner life. If you don't have a pet right now, get creative. Remember a beloved long-ago pet or just imagine one.
