Religious Profession of Brother Bernard Maria, F.SS.R.

Today is the Feast of
St. Clement Maria Hofbauer.

We celebrated the feast with the
Religious Profession of
Brother Bernard Maria Hofbauer, F.SS.R.

Brother Bernard Maria comes from the parish of Tuchów in Poland
where there is the famous shrine known as Our Lady of Tuchów
and also the shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Succour
both of which are cared for by the Redemptorists.

Before making his vows, the Holy Ghost is solemnly invoked
during which Brother prostrates himself before the altar of God.

... I promise and vow for three years
OBEDIENCE, CHASTITY, and POVERTY,...
I declare myself bound by these vows,
in the manner expressed in the Rules of St. Alphonsus
and the Constitutions of The Sons of the Most Holy Redeemer. Amen.

After the ceremony of Religious Profession,
clothed in the Congregation's Pallium,
Brother Bernard Maria stands before the altar
holding the precious relic of St Clement Maria Hofbauer.
